Leinster Bay, USVI
It’s the first full day out on the sail boat. We arrived here at Leinster Bay, St. John late yesterday afternoon. After an onboard meal of spaghetti, we did some star gazing. It is amazing what is in our night sky invisible to us back home because of ambient light from all the local towns and cities.
Today the weather is gorgeous and the fish are jumping all around us. A pelican noticed the same and chose our boat to use as his fishing platform! Who needs television when you can watch natures version of “Deadliest Catch”. The pelican decided to stay all morning on our boat, taking a nap on the bow until we finished snorkeling and sailed on to our next destination.
